We’ve been working behind the scenes, and today it’s live — and we think it’s worth a look.
Why We Rebuilt
We wanted a site that keeps up with everything we’re doing: matching trained volunteers with children in foster care in Madison County who need a consistent, trusted voice in their case. The new site is faster, easier to navigate on a phone, and gives us a real home base for sharing what we do.
What’s New
- A clearer path to volunteering. Our Become a Volunteer page walks through exactly what the role involves, what training looks like, and how to start a pre-screening application online.
- Simple, transparent giving. The new Donate page makes it easy to give once or become a monthly supporter — every dollar helps us train and support advocates for children who need them.
- A home for our story. Our About Us page shares our mission, our history, and what our advocates actually do day to day.
- Ways for the community to help. Businesses, schools, and civic groups can learn how to partner with us on our Partner With Us page.
- A dedicated space for our volunteers. Current advocates now have a private Resources library with training materials and recorded sessions, accessible anytime with their login.
- A blog worth following. This is also where we’ll be sharing news, spreading our message, and helping educate the community — local child welfare updates, volunteer stories, resources for families, and an honest look at what advocacy work actually looks like. If you want to understand this work better, this is the place to start.
One Thing Hasn’t Changed
Every child deserves someone in their corner — someone who shows up, stays consistent, and speaks up for their best interest. That’s still exactly what CAJA of Madison County is here to do. The new website is just a better way to help you get involved, and to keep you in the loop as we go.
