CAJA volunteer advocates aren’t just showing up to courtrooms. They’re driving to schools, to foster placements, to meetings with caseworkers and doctors and teachers — wherever the child they’re advocating for needs them to be. In 2025 alone, our volunteers logged more than 100,000 miles doing exactly that.
It adds up, and it’s real out-of-pocket cost for people who are already giving their time for free. One easy way to support them: gas card donations. It’s a small, concrete way to say thank you to the volunteers doing the driving — literally — behind CAJA’s mission.
